We will stop at the Poás Volcano, where, if the weather conditions are right, you will be able to appreciate the volcano’s massive crater, along with its sulfur fumaroles. Afterwards, a hike on a trail leads to the beautiful Botos Lagoon as, where you will experience and learn about the different ecosystems available in the Park. Once we conclude our visit to the volcano, we will head into Doka Estate, where we’ll enjoy the Coffee Tour, visit the sugar mill and the butterfly farm. Afterwards, we will finish our visit to Doka Estate by enjoying a delicious lunch buffet.
Our next stop will be in the beautiful City of Grecia, considered one of the cleanest cities of Latin America, and home to the only metallic church in Central America, a national monument that fills its inhabitants with pride. In order to catch a glimpse of the local lifestyle, we will also visit the local Central Market area.
The final stop during this tour is Sarchí, a town known as the “Cradle of Costa Rican Artisans” due to its fine workshops.
