Tortuga Island

After a 1 ½-hour drive from San Jose to the Puntarenas Pier and a pit stop for a delicious breakfast on the route, you will embark on the Manta Raya Catamaran for an unforgettable trip. Tortuga is a paradisiac island with white sand beaches, coconut trees and a beautiful clear blue ocean, all located in the Gulf of Nicoya, on the Central Pacific coast of Costa Rica. On the way to Tortuga, while sailing through the calm waters of the Gulf of Nicoya, there is always a possibility of spot dolphins, sea turtles and waterfowl.

Once on the island you can sunbathe on the white sand beaches, take a dip in the blue ocean, hike the adventure trails or take an optional tour before enjoying your lunch served with white wine and music at alive. The Manta Raya has a large terrace area where you can talk with friends or make new friends, as well as fresh water showers and a ramp that allows an easy landing directly to the beach.

Duration: Full day, about 12 hours approx.

Recommendations: Swimsuit, change clothes, sunscreen, towel, sandals or shoes for water and camera.
